Past Programs

Over the years, SIC has launched, delivered, and concluded many programs — each one shaped by what our community needed at the time. We are proud of every program and the lives each one touched. As needs evolve and resources shift, some programs conclude so that new ones can begin.

Some of our Past Programs include:

Freedom School (2005–2025) — 20 Years of Excellence

Success In Challenges was the FIRST Freedom School in California. For 20 years, Freedom School empowered scholars, inspired Servant Leader Interns, and strengthened our entire community. We are deeply proud of this legacy and grateful to every young person, family, and staff member who made it a movement. Freedom School concluded its final and 20th year in 2025.

Long Beach Unified School District After-School Enrichment Program

SIC delivered two successful rounds of after-school enrichment programming in partnership with Long Beach Unified School District, providing students with expanded learning opportunities beyond the school day.
