Through this network, we are building a community-led network of parents and caregivers who are trained, supported, and mobilized to advocate for their children's education and the issues impacting their housing community. Our goal is to actively engage at least 25 parents and caregivers in the program.
The program includes leadership workshops, community advocacy events, and field trips. Participants gain confidence navigating the school system, greater representation in school and housing community meetings, and improved collaboration between families and educators. Childcare and stipends are available to ensure every parent can fully participate.
This initiative transforms knowledge into action — nurturing a generation of parent leaders whose advocacy will outlast the grant.
